The Department for Affective Disorders at Sahlgrenska University Hospital

We are looking for psychiatrists who wants to join a team of highly skilled professionals within our outpatient clinics at the Department of Psychiatry for Affective Disorders at Sahlgrenska University Hospital. 66 psychiatrists are employed in our department in both outpatient and inpatient care, working closely together for the patient, with the patient. We provide mentoring and training for you to develop in your field. We also provide Swedish language training and an introduction to the Swedish health care system and working life. If needed we will offer help finding accommodation.

Work description

Your daily work will include patient-centered care with both diagnosing and treating patients with affective disorders, personality disorders or patients within the autism spectra (ADHD). Additional work assignment is on call duties and tutoring students and interns. Clinical research can also be part of the position. Our out-patient clinics are connected to Sahlgrenska Academy, the center for research and education.
